Visit the South of France
SOUTHERN FRANCE - Ancient Alchemy RETREAT
MAY 14th to MAY 19th, 2020
Join us for a wonderful retreat in the Aude Valley close to Rennes le Chateau, with its many mysteries, beautiful scenery and the source of inspiration for Dan Brown’s book, The Da Vinci Code.
We will be staying in simple accommodation in an old French Farmhouse, once the haunt of the Knights Templars. The farm house is surrounded by 51 hectares of land with organic gardens and orchards, horses, pastures full of wild flowers and butterflies and deciduous woodland. There are also wonderful views of Mt. Bugarach, the upside down mountain, with all its mythical and real life stories.
Stories and mysteries abound in this area, from Mary Magdalene and Jesus being here after the crucifixion, to the persecution of the religious Cathar community; from a mad priest, Visigoth treasure and sacred geometry, to the true story of people who thronged to Mt Bugarach in 2012 believing it would save them in the last days. So much to see and do, we had to be selective.

Drive along the Gorges of Galamus, a spectacular natural site with its sheer cliffs and visit the hermitage of St Anthony as it clings to the limestone rock face.
Walk to the well hidden cave of Mary Magdalene, with our special guide and sit within it to experience its mystic atmosphere.
There will be time to relax, bathe in the thermal waters, sit and have a drink in the local villages watching the world go by, as well as see these sights.
